These exclusively hand blended new waxes (Race Glazes' own product, not rebadged wax) provide a higher pure Carnauba wax concentration in a bigger jar for less money than comparable waxes from the established players. Packed with essential oils, fruit extracts and carriers, Signature-series waxes give a stunning, durable finish to your pride and joy and are used by many professional valeters and car dealerships.

All Signature series waxes are easy to apply to a well prepared surface by hand or foam pad (supplied) and buff off with a tufted-type microfibre cloth. Depth of shine and longevity is superb, proven at over 6 months with 55 on cars used and kept outside, and a tiny amount goes an extremely long way. Around 30-35 average sized cars can be treated with a single pot, so around only £2 per application for 55, less for 42. Applying multiple layers is easy, they will noticeably fill swirl marks and surface scratches even with just 2 coats, and they all smell divine !

Signature Series Pre-Wax Cleanser
A new, non-abrasive product designed for surface preparation before fine waxing – strongly recommended for use with Race Glaze 42, 55 and 4x4 waxes, but also entirely suitable prior to other paste wax usage.
Designed to be quick and easy to both apply and buff off in all weather conditions, including bright sunlight, it gently removes old wax and grime from the paint surface whilst adding oils to weathered paint to refresh the colour. It is NON-ABRASIVE and dust-free, leaving a clean surface with a fine glazed surface for very temporary protection that allows fine waxes like 42, 4x4 and 55 to effectively bond to your paintwork.
Its use is recommended even on freshly painted cars as bodyshops and dealers often use low grade short-term polish which requires removal.
A 250ml bottle should prepare around 6 average sized cars. Apply by hand or DA machine.

4x4 Wax
The new hybrid Signature Series wax for Spring 2011.
Developed from the successful Signature Series, this latest addition is for heavy use vehicles which lead tough lives and need extra durable, heavy duty protection. Perfect for 4x4 (SUV) vehicles, off-roaders, large vehicles and track day / race cars. Its the first Hybrid wax from Race Glaze as it contains PTFE, the slippiest substance known to man, which stops dirt sticking to your car. PTFE is otherwise known as a branded version called Teflon. Race Glaze 4x4 Wax provides extreme durability, perfect for overwinter use, in tests it has survived constant washing on a car kept uncovered outdoors for 8 months.

A relatively soft wax between 42 and 55 in consistency and Carnauba content (48% pure White carnauba, class-leading content for PTFE-enriched waxes) and a delight to use.

The easy to use flat, opaque, double bottomed jar makes it easy to see how much product you have left, and receive a wax pad (supplied free of charge) to get on with the job. For a shine that lasts, Signature 4x4 wax is just the job.

Classic Cars
Classic cars need constant attention, not just to the mechanical and electrical systems, but also to the exterior paint finish. Many cars sit unused for a large portion of the year and are then exposed to high levels of UV for summer motoring, where their paint can become faded quickly and attacked by burn out from insect residues and bird mess.

Older single stage paint, cellulose, two-pack and paint on both metal and fibreglass needs feeding with oils to stop fading and keep it flexible to stop cracking. Your paint needs protection from UV, bugs and birds, tree sap and stonechips, sunlight and scuffs - which a good wax made for the job can do. With many years of polishing by abrasive products your paint may be thin too, and you may not wish to persue scratches by machine polishing, so the high carnauba content of British Classic will help by filling.

Paint Protection Film covered cars

In some cases, where film has shrunk or become damaged, slight discolouration of the film may occur and be visible with multiple costs of 42 and 55 wax on light coloured cars. Please contact us if your car has such film before purchase.

If you are a previous Morethanpolish Swissol / Swissvax customer, and have run out of wax, based on our own experience and customer feedback, we recommend the following:

Onyx: replace with 42 which has 12% more Carnauba and costs £18 less

Saphir, Zuffenhausen, Scuderia, all £115: use either 42 (2% more Carnauba and less than half the cost) or 55 (15% more Carnauba and almost £50 less).

Shield: Now £140 and 40% Carnauba, replace with Race Glaze 4x4 which has 48% Carnauba and costs £75.

Best of Show / Mystery - 55 is considered by some professional detailers to be comparable, yet at under half the price of Best of Show. For instance, just compare the Carnauba content - 55 has more Carnauba than Best of Show (51%), which costs £195 and the same Carnauba content as Mystery which costs an incredible £475. New Race Glaze Black label is 66% pure white Carnauba in a far superior bespoke metal (compared to waxes such as Mystery) jar for near £200 less (Mystery is £475, Black Label is £285).
